Lucy originally graduated from Bristol with a degree in Physiology and Amatomy back in 2014 and from there continued on to complete her Physiotherapy Masters at Brunel in London. Pursuing her interest in the musculoskeletal side of physio, she went straight into practicing in a London clinic where she was exposed to a wide variety of complex injuries and health conditions.
Combining her passion for health and fitness, injuries and exercise physiology she soon found her way into private practice. She continues to expand on her current skillset with courses specific to running injury management and technique enhancement alongside her pilates training. With her current practice, she strongly believes in turning an injury setback into a positive and using it as an opportunity to fine-tune the athlete's sporting skills and movement control, with adjuncts such as tailored training schedules and nutrition to optimise performance.
She has been interested in every sport from a young age, and still now if she is not to be found open water swimming, running or playing netball, she will be busy cooking, brunching with friends or using any excuse to travel. Combining her passion for sport and travel, later this year Lucy will be supporting a group of ultra-runners as they tackle the Wadi Rum Ultra desert in Jordan.
